Gratitude Day

I like to make my Sundays a gratitude day.

Have no daunting commitments, and just spend the day with a sense of appreciation for what I have.

Today I wanted to say a thank you to my readers of this blog, particularly to my readers from India. I’ve had a huge surge of readers from that region in that past few weeks and wanted to extend a warm thank you.

It baffles me that when I first started this blog, that I had 2 readers. One of them being myself.

Now I’ll get thousands of views per month on the 500+ posts I’ve made, from people around the world that I will most likely never meet.

And I’m just getting started.

Things like my Podcast, and my Finance Blog, all reach people I might never meet. And it’s amazing how much power I have in terms of influence.

And I am grateful for that.

Grateful for people who support my content.

Homophobic Slurs and Freedom

New podcast episode out!: Homophobic Slurs and Freedom

“The other weekend while I was in New York some random man said a homophobic slur at me for no reason. But I am not offended. In fact, I want to liberate him from his own oppression.

In this podcast I talk about Simone de Beauvoir’s concept of genuine freedom and how we can all approach life with a perspective of a common good.”

We have a soul

How do we know we have souls?

There are many theories and ways to arriving to an answer

But I think the most compelling response to why we have souls?

We love the dead.

We love past the physical body.

It’s not something we see

The soul is a feeling

P.S. I published another “The Jawesome Life” podcast.

Check it out on Spotify/Apple Podcasts/Overcast. It’s called “Life is a Grocery Store”

I Appreciate You.

Another podcast episode

Hey guys. So I did another podcast episode because Tuesdays are for podcasting and I plan to stick to my schedule! (Be a DISCIPLINED half-ass, NOT a lazy perfectionist). It still feels very weird but I think I’m getting better at this…

Anyways, I spent my spring break in Switzerland, and besides noticing how beautiful and hellishly expensive Switzerland is, I also spent a lot of time traveling on the train almost through the entire country. And if you are like me, you can only do two things while on the train: listen to music, and THINK.

So I did a lot of thinking. And in this podcast, I talk about the philosophical questions I’ve been battling recently and how I’ve just felt lost. Camels, Nietzsche, and Deserts are also included in this episode!

You can listen to the podcast with the link below or search “The Jawesome Life” on Spotify/Apple Podcasts/Overcast/Wherever you listen to podcasts.

Thanks and have a great life!
