I like monthly challenges
A lot of my habits were birthed from monthly self challenges
Last year I started January with a gratitude journal. February I did magic every day, and March I read 30 minutes every day for 2018
This year although I haven’t started any monthly challenge for January, I plan to add a few habits to my life routine.
The key to adding habits is to start gradually. Don’t make a list of 10 things and start it all at the same time–that’s a recipe for failure.
They say you need 21 days of continued practice to make something a real habit.
I plan to add the daily habit of reading 30-45 minutes every day before bed instead of looking at my phone and Instagram feed. I guess it’s time to post this blog post and start reading.
