I’ve written a lot about self-improvement.
In fact, I think if anything, the theme of this blog would be best categorized as self-improvement.
I’ve recently been working out at my local community center. It’s been a while since I’ve been actively lifting weights, but it feels good.
Every morning this past week I’ve woken up with a sore body, sore muscles, different muscles every time.
It hurts. It does. And sometimes it really sucks that my shoulders feel cramped up, but it’s like a good type of sore.
When you wake up in the morning sore from a previous workout, it means that the workout worked. It means your muscles are rebuilding itself and it will be bigger.
I can’t believe it’s almost 2019.
2018 I’ve picked up a lot of good habits.
I’ve been reading more. I’ve written every day for the past 420+ days. I picked up meditation and have been meditating for the past 2 months. And hopefully, by the time 2019 starts, I’ll be able to add active fitness workouts to my habits. I planned to add yoga too, and there’s definitely time for that.
But self-improvement is a slow process. It doesn’t come overnight.
Good thing for me is that I have the rest of my life to self-improve.
