When did UBER drivers become so interesting?
Before, when using UBER, I always kept to myself and sat in the back in silence during my rides.
But just these short 5 days in LA has taught me something very basic but true:
UBER drivers are also people, and they all have their own story.
A musical theater teacher who needs some extra side money to help fund his 3 daughters college tuition.
An LA native of 32 years who is super passionate about his city
A new driver of only 2-weeks who is taking college classes online at 4 California colleges.
It’s refreshing because now every car ride has its own story, and it may just be a small part of our journey, but it’s these small golden nuggets that can be potentially found in ever UBER car that makes life just a little bit more interesting.
