As much as I love e-commerce and Amazon, I’ve always loved the idea of shopping in person
Whether it be spontaneously finding books to buy
Or browsing through shoes you’ve never seen before
It’s just as easy to buy a book and ship it to your home with Amazon, but the more we do that, we quicker local neighborhoods begin to die.
If you can, pop into a local store once. Instead of eating at Macdonalds, try that new local restaurant. Instead of buying all your books on Amazon, buy a few physical ones at the local book shop.
After all, Macdonalds and Amazon has enough of your money.
