Performing for “non-believers” and “hecklers”
Yes, of course, there is a “trick” to the magic I perform, but that’s not the point.
The point is to enjoy the illusion and be entertained.
The people who don’t understand the purpose of magic don’t deserve to see the performance in the first place. After all, they’ll just try to ruin the trick, prove you wrong, reveal your methods, and in rare and very rude cases, grab the deck of cards straight out of your hands while you are trying to perform…
There is no reason to perform magic for people who don’t like it.
Don’t force the performance.
