It could be worse

Really, it could be worse.

I could have lost my iPhone instead.

But I only lost my wallet. My credit card and Work Visa were both on my phone card slot, so I don’t really need to worry about replacing anything.

Don’t get me wrong–losing money never feels good. It hurts even more when you realize it was by a simple mistake of dropping your wallet somewhere and forgetting about it

But at the end of the day, I lost $300 and gained a little stress–things that I can easily let go of, and won’t really bother me too far into the future. If I lost my phone, I’d be losing an important utility and it would be a pain to replace and bother me for quite a while.

At the end of the day, I am happy that I am safe, and that my friends are here with me.

At the end of the day, it could be worse. I am just glad it wasn’t.
