Time is running out: The FCC will vote on Net Neutrality on Dec. 14
“If net neutrality in is taken away, everyone will pay more, service will cease to be universal, the poor will lose something they need more than ever, and some lobbyists will be very happy.” – Seth Godin
One of the main reasons I wanted to start this blog is so I could express myself and positively influence other people by sharing ideas… this post is one where I am asking for all my 20 followers to help rally with me.
Net neutrality basically ensures there is no bias on the internet in terms of what data you can receive or access…
Without it, we would eventually [Pay just $5 to read more!!!]
That’s what would start to happen. Censorship, bias, and companies filtering specific data to us or blocking out certain content. If net neutrality is taken away, essentially the first thing large companies would do is restrict us from even accessing any content related to net neutrality…
Without Net Neutrality, ISPs can choose what you see online, favoring some sources or blocking others. (think of the censorship style society in North Korea…) For example, if someone launched a petition on Change.org against a company like Verizon, Net Neutrality prevents Verizon from blocking or slowing their customers’ access to our site.
Taking away net neutrality is taking away our freedom.
It’ll take you two minutes to sign this petition, and it’s worth more than that. Please spread the word… Thanks
