Build your army with Books

I know it is cliche to say, but it is undeniably true:

There is so much available knowledge in books.

A book is the closest thing to the materialization of a person’s thoughts and reading a book is like reading an author’s mind. If you consistently read quality books written by prestigious people, you will essentially create a mind with the knowledge from those books and authors.
Vinh Giang put it eloquently:
Your army is built by how many books you have read…and one soldier represents one book.
Keep building your army. It only takes an average of $20 to add a soldier.
I am honestly sad that I didn’t read more as a high schooler…but it’s time to build my army now.
If you want to join me, I am currently working on the following:
  • Give and Take by Adam Grant
  • 4-Hour Work Week by Tim Ferris
  • 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey

“The world is a book, and those who do not travel only read one page” – St. Augustine
